To Our Valued Customers,
The prevailing freight rates in the container market from Asia to North
Europe are un-sustainable and lead to a financially unviable situation for
the industry.
Therefore, Maersk Line will be implementing a General Rate Increase
(GRI) of USD550/TEU on all Dry cargo, effective from 15th December
2012.
Scope: General rate increase will apply to all Dry cargo moving from all Far
East Asia (Including Japan) to all Northern European destinations (Including
Russia, Baltics & Scandinavia).
