As per official information from the Kiel-Canal Operations the local labour union VERDI will perform a strike of Kiel-Canal Locks (Brunsbuettel) from Wednesday 07.08.2013 AM until Sunday 11.08.2013 AM. From the press release it states that a possible new strike may occur next week impacting the Kiel-Holtenau-Locks. However we do expect delays while the canal traffic will be restricted during mentioned period. We will keep you informed.
